Our Model of Care

We believe:

  • In earning trust, modeling ethical practices, and keeping our word.
  • That understanding and caring about people’s needs drives everything we do.
  • In advancing equitable access to health care products and services to improve lives, outcomes, and wellbeing.
  • In consistently delivering excellence to build loyal, valued relationships.
In approaching problems holistically to deliver the best results possible.

MyCare Technologies As A Crisis Intervention Tool

Equipping law enforcement officers with MyCare tablets allows officers to connect individuals in a mental health crisis with a provider through a face-to-face video call. On this call, providers are able to assess and evaluate the individual to determine the best level of care.

  • Saves law enforcement money and time
  • Less harm to law enforcement
  • Significant reduction in officers transporting individuals to mental health facilities
  • Lowers the amount of jail transports
  • Instant access to comprehensive care
  • Greatly reduces the number of calls to 911 and 988
  • Significant inpatient hospitalization savings
  • Unbridled access to 24/7 crisis care

MyCare Shows You Care

According to the National Institute of Mental Health, mental illnesses affect tens of millions of people in the United States each year. Estimates suggest that only half of the affected people receive treatment. An estimated 1 in 25 Americans lives with a serious mental illness, such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, or major depression. Behavioral/mental health conditions are much higher in people with chronic medical conditions or other difficult circumstances, such as extreme poverty, homelessness, addiction, isolation, or incarceration.

MyCare Technologies was created to help all of these people. Our vision is a world where all populations have access to competent, compassionate behavioral health information and services whenever they need it most.

Larry Smith Grand Mental Health iPad

"There's several million dollars being saved by MyCare. And sometimes people say, 'How can you afford to put all these iPads in all these clients' homes, and all these police cars, and the museums, and the libraries?' And my answer has always been, "How can you afford not to? Look at the outcomes, look at the millions of dollars being saved by people not going to inpatient."
