MyCare Technologies recently partnered with Alabama behavioral health providers Integrea and Carastar to expand access to telehealth-supported crisis response across the state. During onboarding events held at two locations, clinicians, law enforcement officers, dispatch personnel, and other first responders gathered to learn how the MyCare platform can support individuals experiencing behavioral health crises.
The first session was hosted by Integrea in Opelika, Alabama, followed by a second onboarding with Carastar in Montgomery, Alabama. Both events brought together professionals from across multiple disciplines to explore how telehealth technology can help connect individuals in crisis with licensed clinicians in real time.
Bringing Behavioral Health Support into the Field
Behavioral health crisis calls often involve a wide range of responders. The MyCare platform allows first responders to quickly connect individuals in crisis with a licensed clinician through a secure video connection, helping provide immediate clinical support when it is needed most.
By bringing clinicians directly into the moment through telehealth, responders can receive guidance during critical situations while helping ensure individuals are directed toward appropriate care.

Onboarding Teams Across Two Alabama Locations
In Opelika, Integrea hosted the first onboarding session for teams serving Lee, Russell, Chambers, and Tallapoosa counties. Participants included clinicians, behavioral health staff, law enforcement officers, dispatch personnel, and other responders who may encounter individuals experiencing behavioral health crises in their communities.
Later in Montgomery, Carastar welcomed participants representing teams that serve Autauga, Elmore, Lowndes, and Montgomery counties. The session similarly brought together clinicians, support staff, and first responders who play a key role in responding to behavioral health crises across the region.
These sessions emphasized the importance of coordination between behavioral health providers and public safety professionals when responding to complex situations in the field.
Demonstrating the Technology in Real Time
Hands-on demonstrations gave participants the opportunity to see how the MyCare platform works during active crisis response situations. Responders were able to observe how quickly a secure telehealth connection can be established, allowing clinicians to engage with individuals and provide guidance during challenging moments.
These demonstrations helped illustrate how technology can support responders while ensuring individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis have access to professional care.

Expanding Access to Behavioral Health Care in Alabama
As communities across the country continue working to strengthen behavioral health crisis systems, partnerships like those with Integrea and Carastar help expand access to timely and compassionate care.
By connecting clinicians and responders through secure telehealth technology, MyCare supports a more coordinated approach to crisis response and helps ensure individuals receive the support they need when it matters most.
